I am so sad. I am in love with someone who does not love me back. But the opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference... And the opposite of life is not death, it's indifference. This is the most painful thing I have ever experienced. Yes, it is very painful to love someone who does not return that love. It is very hard to feel lovable when someone chooses not not to love you back. This feels like the end of the world, it's isn't. And as much as it feels like a reflection on you and your worth, or lack of it, it isn't.
This is a time to be kind to yourself.
This is a time to be with friends who love you.
This is a time to write in your journal.
This is a time to make a list of all the things you like about yourself.
(This is a time to not think about what you don't like about yourself.)
This is a time to read a good book.
This is a time to say nice things to yourself.
This is a time to find the love you are looikng for inside yourself.
But is this a time to forget about him?
