More of the story:
She wakes in a cold sweat. Was it a dream, or was it real? Had he really gone away? Had she really died? Then she noticed a man sitting beside her bed. "W-who are you?" she whispered, terrified. "I am of no importance. I found you, dead." Then it was real. The one she thought had loved her was gone, he had broken her heart. She never believed you could die from a broken heart, but she had. She once more looked at the man. He had long black hair, tied back, and violet eyes. "Where am I?" she questioned the man. "Hm...You are in a small inn. My name is Shoku. I never got your name. What is it?" She was startled. This man, Shoku was treating her like a small child and yet he was also acting as if she was a goddess. "I am Hakumei." Shoku's eyes flickered. He nodded and whispered "Do you know what you are?" "What I am--? I am a person." Hakumei looked at him strangely. Shoku shook his head. "No. You are Death."
