It's over. or almost anyway. Months and months of work, for 3 freakin' awesome shows. The production of Alice in Wonderland.
A school play. But so much more. The bond you get when you see each other every day for so very long. Memorizing lines, know that just you and your group of friends are the ones who get to take the audience down the rabbit holes...
And it's worth the months and months of practice.
I enjoy it.
More than enjoy. I live for it. I live for being on stage, for being able to make this believable, for the bond s you create... but mostly I do it for the thing I saw last night.
That one little kid, in the middle of the aisle, jumping up and down, clapping and screaming as you do your curtain call. To know that you made this kids night...
That's what this is for.
So, as I prepare myself for my last night in Wonderland, I send a huge shout-out to my fellow cast and crew and hope that tonight is just like Thursday and yesterday. Amazing.
