Ok Hey there! Before I start writting Reaper (for short) I'm going to refresh your memories on it. So Anthony is the main character. He was an aprentace for a blacksmith and was in love with a slave. The slave was a girl named Elizabeth. Anthony was 16 and Elizabeth was 14. Ok the rest you'll find out in the story!! Here are the first 2 chapters!

Lovers In The Night
Chapter One

The darkness closed in around him as he trudged through the forest. It was a cold dark night, so humid the soft crunch of his feet hitting the gravel barely sounded. He reached where he was supposed to meet her. Stopping in his tracks and shivering from lack of movement he heard a voice cut through the night.
“Elizabeth?” He posed the question in a whisper. “Elizabeth! I’m over here.” He called excitedly burying himself deeper into his woolen coat. A young woman appeared through the mist. He instantly wrapped his arms around her in a warm embrace. “I thought you wouldn’t come!” He whispered into her ear softly.
“I’m not supposed to be here.” She whispered back a hint of fear entering her voice. “Anthony, I’ve missed you so!” Anthony smiled delight filling his soul. He kissed her lightly and took her hand. They walked to the dock, as usual, and boarded a small row boat.
“It’s a beautiful night.” He said smiling, rowing away from shore.
“That it is.” She agreed gazing into the sky trying to search out a star. Anthony stopped rowing and pulled her into his arms holding her tightly and her him. He kissed the top of her head lightly and fell back slowly, her falling to his side. There they laid for endless minutes talking of many things, marriage most importantly. Anthony felt warmer then ever before, he thought, in those hours. He would become a full blacksmith within the next two years as he was already sixteen. When he was at age he would steal Elizabeth away from her master to a far away and exotic land where they would live until their deaths. He smiled in the night at the thought. “Anthony, I must go. The sun is rising…” She sat up slowly rubbing her eyes. Anthony nodded gloomily and rowed back to shore in the beginning light. When they reached the dock he pulled Elizabeth into his arms and kisses her.
“Two more years, I promise.” He smiled and let her go. She smiled back and walked back off into the mist. He almost could feel her love linger. He smiled, shoved his hands in his pocket and walked away.

The Great Misfortune
Chapter Two

Later that morning Anthony’s master sent him out to deliver merchandise to an important client. He didn’t mind errands; it showed that his master could trust him. He pulled his horse to a slow walk when passing by Elizabeth’s Master’s house. Something was wrong; he could feel it in his bones. He gazed around with bewildered eyes but spotter nothing instantaneously. He glanced again at the house and notice that a woman was tied ankle and wrist between two poles. He got a chill. There was no way that it could be Elizabeth.
Anthony whistled three high pitched whistles one after another. It was how he and Elizabeth had greeted each other in public. The woman looked up with desperate eyes. She was already half dead, and whipped until the skin came off in flaps but Anthony recognized her immediately. She wet her lips and formed them but no sound came from them. Anthony stood stock still. She tried again and again but still Anthony could not bring himself to go help her. A single tear fell down her cheek and then she lowered her head.
The horse twitched impatiently beneath him. Anthony spurred it on and delivered the merchandise. His mind was blank and the sky was dark when he returned to the house. He decided that this time he would do something. This time he would help her.
His horse trotted up to the front gate and Anthony peered into the bars. He couldn’t see anything attached to the poles. He sighed and squinted until his eyes hurt. A slave passed by.
“What happened to the slave that was latched to the poles?” Anthony asked desperately knowing the slave would reply due to how dark Anthony’s skin was.
“A pack o’ God knows wha’ came at du’k and took ‘er.” He said wide eyed. “The sound was hor’able, it was. ’Course the Master whipped ‘er ‘till she would of died anywa’!” With that the servant turned and strode away. Anthony stood there in further shock. He had failed her. His mind ran with wild thoughts of revenge. Half of him wanted to march into the house and massacre the whole family, but then he would be caught and hung. He decided that he would have to wait and plan for a death that would only fit the crime. He nodded and plodded away.
