i don't understand why people would lower the price of their item in the marketplace when they could get more
for example, i've seen many pages with listings like so:
15000
15500
16500
16999
17023
17500
17500
18900
19000
ect...
sure, in this example, there is only a 4k difference in the highest and lowest entries, but to some people, that's significant
and okay, i guess i could forgive the guy who marked down his item 100g, which he was going to lose part of to taxes...
but they are still going to have to pay taxes...
but then there are people like the next entry, who take off even more
of course this would be an example of a cheaper item, not like hermes moon or chyaku norisu
eventually, everyone marks down their items until they are worthless, maybe just because they don't want the item anymore, so they make it the cheapest, and therefore, the more likely to be bought first
but they don't realize that at that rate, everyone will begin to do that until again, the item is worthless
wouldn't it be more profitable not to lower your prices? can't you all just work together to keep your prices steady and milk gaia for all the gold they have?
of course only an idiot like me would conplain about how cheap things are...

But if you think about it, people want to make profits therefore they lower their prices in hopes that someone will buy it from them. Of course sometimes they don't realize they're lowering the item's worth...
You really have to wait when these type of situations happen. For example, I've waited for the price of the Sun Staff to go up for months and it's either gotten cheaper or stayed around the same cost I bought it. But Frostbite Blade's price went up, and that's good because I was going to sell it for less than I paid for.
It's business/economy stuff. sweatdrop
