Hmmmm
My last journal entry was in 2005.. the last time I posted on Gaia at all is 2006...

This is a very different site.. I still remember the days of Go-Gaia and early Gaiaonline

Hm, I remember the Halo and only two maps and not so many people, but still a lot. And not so much hype about stuff you have to pay cash for.

I remember staying up all night to post in a bumping thread, where friendly people talked together, and I remember random pop ups where you would find sometihng special, if you posted enough. I remember the holiday events from back then, like the Grunny invasion or the Easter hunts.

Ah, reminiscing.

I can't compare anything I remember to anything now, because I haven't browsed the site in it's current state and don't really wish to.

I'm always drifting to and from different social sites.. the only social websites I stay on forever are the one that have some functional use to me. I haven't left deviantART because it lets be post my art. I haven't left MyAnimeList because it lets me remember what chapter I'm on (lol).

I've carelessly abandoned so many petsites, forums, oekakis, and even MMO games. I always wish I could be part of a community, but it never happens. I never stick to one.

I guess It could be because as I get older, I procrastinate more and more. I procrastinate doing things I ENJOY. I also get distracted so easy that I go on a new site only to forget the old.

Hmm, I kinda do like Gaia. I like the events and the graphics. I don't know about some of the features.. I couldn't care for a movie theatre, thanks. The fishing was fun, is it still around? The art arena used to have an oekaki but i think that was taken out...

I can't say much about the Gaia community though... there are just so many people.. Gaia got so popular after I left.. There are so many people, it's not likely that you would run into the same person in two different threads in different sections of the forum. With so many people, the personality of the community is too vasried, there probably are trolls, noobs, and kids, but there is no doubt that there are also the friendly pepole who just like to talk, and the artists, and people who actually care. there are also the competitive people, those trying to get tons of gold and get tons of items and win avatar contests.

And this is describing gaia YEARS ago, i have to wonder what it's like now. Are there more trolls now that it's much more popular? how often do you actually run into a person who you can have a decent talk with?

Most of my experience is in the Chatterbox, actually, and the general discussion, hehe.

I know nobody is reading this.. I just felt like writing. (:

Have a nice day, and happy gaia-ing(?)!

omg, i didnt mention gaia towns, even though i played it like a mofo when the first came out! X) hehe, I grabbed a home real fast too.
