Walking down the road together, all those couples all around us,
It made me think if you ever wanted us to be like them
We were the best of friends.
Something that was hard to find for me and you,
despite our differences we were always the same in a way.
My parents gone all day, probably haven't had a nice conversation with them for atleast 2 months.
Your mom yelling at you everyday,kicking you out of your house.
You never had anywhere to go so I would always invite you over to my house..
We could crack open dozens of root beer and sit on my swing outside,
telling jokes about people and making fun of each other.
Even when my dad's never there for me, you were.
age difference never mattered to us; you being one year older then me never changed things.
we were the best of friends, maybe even closer then I thought.
You're still like an older brother to me.
Now someone came into your life.
A direct hit to my heart.
Your mom yells at you and you have no where to go.
My doorbell doesn't ring anymore, no more throwing rocks at my window 5am in the morning.
You decide to take a bus downtown to meet up with her every morning and night now.
I wonder why you chose her over me.
was it because she was older then I was..
She was pretty while I was a troll compared to her.
You call me one night, crying on the phone because of what she did.
It breaks my heart to hear you cry.
You say you love her and you don't know what to do.
I fight back tears and say nothing,thinking about you was enough to drive me crazy.
I hear the doorbell ring in the background and you tell me to hold that thought.
It was her at the door, saying sorry to you and that she loves you so much.
I hear you say you love her too.
Too much for me to handle ..
I hung up the phone and went back to sleep.
Feeling pretty jealous that you left me for her again.
Another direct hit into my heart.
I still hope that someday, we'll be able to be as close as we once were.
Even though we know each other in real life and on this silly game, I'll wear the necklace you gave to my on my birthday.
My half of the heart still says forever.

but no one knows for sure.
Even though I don't know you,
I'll pray for you.
Because no one should have to
go through "losing" a friend.
Even though they may not be
totally lost,
just pray that one day he
realizes how great a person
you are.
And if not, he probably is
missing the best thing that
could ever happen to him <3
