Lately you may have noticed that my avatar has been sporting a trollish brow, Pinocchio nose (at full length) and a bared canine tooth. It has also been wearing a grey peasant dress and tan peasant gloves. No, it's not permanent. I am only wearing it at this time because as you may already know, the Gaia Prom 2008 is going on.
You see, it all satarted a looong time ago...*flashback noise* sweatdrop
Well actually 2 days ago I noticed most of the girls and some of the guys dressing up all fancy and putting on makeup, so i asked a random person, why all the glam?
She said "Well it's the Prom, you gotta be beautiful, right?"
This got me thinking, and I eventually hatched the plan of the century
I would go the opposite way of conventional beauty ideals and put on this awesome (and cheap) stuff to see if anyone would start judging me instantly. And after being in the Prom for 1 minute and 20 seconds (no I didn't time this but it seems more professional this way wink ) a girl came up to me and started calling me out for being "ugly" rolleyes , "uglying" eek up the place and even being too "ugly" to get a date.
Upon asking her what defines ugly, all she could say was "u" stare
She fell right into my trap. Isn't it sad how we judge people because they look different than everyone else, I mean, nobody has made a law about what is beautiful and what is not, it is the media and culture in general that enforces these putrid "standards" , especially on young girls and women, of what we must look like.
So I urge you, in superficial times like this "Prom" to:
1. Not focus too much on what you look like and try to have a good time (for a "Prom" ftw)
2.Not choose your "date" on looks, scream because they're just PIXELS, people!
3.Not to taunt people or judge people on what they look like and try to think of the things people are bred to think of as beautiful (e.g small nose, non-bushy eyebrows, eyelashes) and see how dumb they are cool

except eyelashes... xp we need those wink <---If I didn't have eyelashes that would have hurt alot
