Oh, this is a treat! I found an entry from the year I was married.
Today is the big day. Winston and I are tying the knot! I always knew he was the man for me, ever since I met him at the dance club. He eyed me from head toe toe, mostly in the mid chest area, even though I don't know why... Anyways, we're finally getting married. Mom disapproves of Winston, but daddy is completely ecstatic that I'm marrying a middle-class man instead of a bum. We'll be going to Niagara for our honeymoon. I don't really like Niagara, ever since uncle John fell to his death in a barrel when I was a girl, but nonetheless it's a magical place. Winston has gotten us a wonderful suite, at the Stardust Motel, it sounds a bit sleazy, but after all, I am a sleaze as well... I am pregnant with our first child, which is mostly the reason we want to get married. My parents and his are big supporters of abstinence, but who could deny the milkman, he's been the father of many children around the country. Have you ever heard the expression where someone might say you're the 'milkman's son' because you're the opposite of your father. Well, it's true... You are the milkman's son or daughter, he is very popular with the ladies... Well, I must go... The bells are ringing, and I still gotta pop some pimples, and scoop out the grime from some places, need to be clean for the big day... Goodbye for now diary....
