Personality: Hi no Arashi is one of the more dangerous charges running around the house. Not only does she show a love of chicken that borders on cannibalism, but she seems quite grateful to D-chan for taking her home...and to show this, she continually tries to kill her. If the fox-girl doesn't watch where she's going, the little sparieh will dart out in front of her paws in a heartbeat and try to trip her into any number of solid, painful objects. Needless to say, the half-fox is now wondering what came over her, taking this little destructive ball of energy in as opposed to a different sparieh chick...
No one is quite sure what happened along the genetic line between Sayuri and Kaen to make such a rough-and-tumble chick, but the two love her dearly as only parents can. Though Kaen does scold his young daughter (to no effect), he also sticks up for her when D-chan begins to rave about how the chick is out to get her (these suspicions may yet be confirmed, but only time will tell). Arashi, for her part, seems to know that, in her parents' eyes, she can do no wrong, and often plays as though she is goddess of the house...
...until Hoshi puts her in her meager place.
When it comes to understanding D-chan, no one could be farther from the mark than Arashi seems to be. Either she thinks that the fox-girl will let her get away with anything upon threat of an untimely demise, or there's something else going on in that feathery little brain to make her think that she rules all and is high and mighty in the house. She and Hoshi are continuously at odds on this subject, and due to the nightmare sparieh's size, speed, strength, and general mannerisms, Hoshi usually wins. Arashi will soon enough learn her place, that much is certain...

Arashi's place in the house is that, in her eyes, of the ousted queen. In the eyes of her father, she is a little angel that can do no wrong. In the eyes of the rest of the household, she's a destructive little purple fireball waiting to strike. Most residents go out of their way to either avoid her or put her in her place...something that both Hoshi and, more recently, Grei have begun to do, though Grei has a much tougher time of it, since he has only a speed advantage over her. Arashi seems to be calming, though, under the influence of these other commanding presences, so maybe something will chance in the future and she will become a more respected and respectable member of the family...
