Misc Notes
Tamale Central - Back in the past (maybe around 3 659T?), as farming and cattle became more widespread, archery moved from purely hunting for food to a sport for the aristrocracies. Later, during the establishment of Tamale Central, the city-to-be came under attack from the animals there (including griffins, goblins etc). After all, they were clearing the land that the creatures were inhabiting before. Fighters along with some of the noble archers massacred them pushed them back into the surrounding forest and mountains. A bit later (3 920T), archery fell out of fashion with the nobles, but the head dude of Tamale Central could not deny the usefulness of having archers, especially when the wildlife was so hostile. With a number of fighters gone up north (see Kitanya), there was a lack in defence. A large number of peasants with bows could drive off enemies...and so they did. At 4 198T, the monster attacks mostly ceased. The peasant archers had no need for their bows any more, and archery mostly stopped.
Nixan Academy - However, one person (who shall remain nameless, for I haven't thought of a name yet) thought the art of archery should not die out (not to mention s/he thought it would not be wise to forget about the attacks so soon), and set up the Nixan Academy with a group of other like-minded people. At first anyone could go there if they wished, but then the costs of running it became a notable problem.
