Wow. I thought sleeping on my home planet was hard.
This just flat out sucked.
That darned dog upstairs was possibly the most annoying thing I've ever heard in my life. Seriously, if I had to hear it 'bark' one more time, I was going to personally go up there and strangle it.
However, this morning, i thought it would be fun to adventure around the town- there was a lot of cool stuff, actually. I went to a place called 'McDonalds', and, well... It was good! Although, everyone looked at me funny when I poured syrup all over my fries...Hmm. How strange. It tastes good, humans are just...inflexible. I guess that's the best word for it.
After that, I walked around for a while. Just...walked. I found it nice to just see the scenery- and I must admit, what humans lack in kindness and creativity, they make up for in the huge buildings everywhere- skyscrapers I believe they're called. I walked into one (it was a buisiness of some sort), and went to the top floor, and it was amazing! I had a view of the entire city!...Then a bunch of guards came, realized I didn't work there, and they took me out. =/ It was awkward, to say the least.
Well, afterwards, I found a shop I thought was particularly interesting- a 'pet shop'. I went in, not knowing what to expect, and I was shocked! There were hundreds of creatures in that shop- from the feathered creatures I see everywhere, to creatures that can live UNDERWATER! My home planet was too cold for anything to live underwater.
Anyway, I asked the tour guide (is that what she was? o.o) to show me around, so i could learn the names of all the creatures. I was somewhat disappointed with the names- a 'dog', a 'cat', a 'fish', a 'bird'....Wow, how...unimaginative. Some of the more interesting names were 'Gerbil', 'Hampster', 'Lizard', and 'Spider'. Those were rather imaginative (and easier to write than some of the creatures on my home planet...as cool as a 'byaxxitaxiwar' sounds, it's hard to write.).
When we went to the 'dogs', I watched them with interest, and found it hard to belive anything so small (they were all 'puppies', I believe) could cause me to be so annoyed while I tried to sleep. None were bigger than maybe a foot high. The tour guide said that most of them grew to be rather big, but some also stayed really small. Interesting...
Well, this is weird to say, but I sorta broke down, and ended up buying one of the puppies. Huh. Why'd I buy one? I mean, they're hard to take care of, they're noisy, and....stuff....but, something about the creature I liked. I guess it was the size...Anyway, I have a puppy now, but I had nothing to name it. So, after watching the 'television' (that's what that box in my room was...), I saw a show called 'Peanuts', and the dog was called 'Snoopy'...so, that's what I named the dog.
Wow. Interesting.
