I found a site called Writer's Cafe where people are allowed to share their books, short stories, or poems. It's almost like a miniature MySpace in a way, but mainly for sharing your writings. I've been posting my books on there and so far I have four up, but one of them is incomplete. The name I have on there is Chris and you can find any of my writings here by maybe searching for my name or the titles of my books, or at least I assume so anyway. I'm still a little new to the site.
Two of the books are homosexual stories. The first one basically centers around just love and doesn't really have much of a storyline (comparing to the second one that is). This one is titled, Change of Heart (Can't think of a better title). This book is the one I talked about in my first journal entry. It's about a boy named Spike and a boy named Max. Spike is a sixteen year old and is basically a lone wolf who gets into a lot of fights. Max is your average student who always tries to find the good in everyone's heart. Max tries to become Spike's friend and the friendship eventually becomes something more than just that. This is also my first book that has actual romance in it, so I don't really know how well I did on those parts. And what it is currently titled probably isn't going to be the real title. I'm just having problems thinking of a name for it and I'm looking for suggestions too.
The second one has more of a storyline than romance, or at least in comparison to the first one anyway. On Writer's Cafe, this one is titled, Currently Untitled. I have real bad problems with coming up with titles for these kind of books as you can probably see. This book isn't completely finished yet though, so I'm hoping to get an idea for a title while I finish it up or that I'll get some good suggestion for a title. But anyway, this book is about a sixteen year old boy named Josh who lives with a conservative family. Josh ends up meeting an eighteen year old named Matt. Josh ends up falling in love with him and finds out he's gay. The two fall in love, but it ends up getting them in trouble. This is my first book using a first person point of view, so I don't know how good it will truly turn out.
I might end up posting these books here on Gaia at some point in time though, but I don't know for sure yet.
