Alright, first a little background info on this poem. I wrote this poem on Friday morning, September 9th. The night before, my currently ex-boyfriend, Jay, and I had started a decision making. It wasn't an argument, it was us figuring out what we wanted, what we needed, and which was most important. We have a lot of distance between us since we live in two different states, and he missed being able to actually hold somone in his arms. So we decided to stay really good friends and try to find relationships closer to us. But after that first night (this spanned over 2 nights), I could barely sleep. The next morning, I wrote this poem as a way to cope. Comments, questions and advice are all much appreciated.

Bleed to Death
Slit my wrist
And watch the blood flow down.
I was top of your hit list,
So why do you frown?
I did the job for you.
The deed is now done.
There's no more to do,
It seems you have won.
I sit here alone
While you live your new life.
I'll cut to the bone
As you ******** your new wife.
So good-bye and so long.
I've bled to the death.
I'm writing this song
With my very last breath.
