You ever have one of those days where you think to yourself, "Wow, Everyone around me is having trouble! I hope things work out alright for them!" And then realize that somewhere along the way you actually had the courses of action that caused you to think of something un-selfish?!?!?!?!
God, that so wasn't me!!!
Still, I'm hoping for good luck for Miroshi and Jayden. Poor Miroshi's sick and was too doped up on cold/pain meds to compose a proper sentence two days ago, and Jayden lost his job, his sanity, and thanks to the hurricane HALF OF THE COUNTRY AWAY, all of the food in his fridge.
How in the hell did we get hit by a hurricane in Ohio?! I'm still trying to figure that one out. It's been declared a crisis here, but I was outside playing in it! (Wind/water elemental) I didn't realize how bad it was everywhere else! It's insane!
Turns out, even though we lost power three times for a second, literally, that most of Columbus was shut down for days due to the power outage! My hubby hasn't been to work in days! We still don't have all of the street lights up, even though the damage took place two days ago!
To any of you who were affected by this tragedy, you have my sympathy!
Though, oddly enough, and again (Third crisis we've avoided) I don't know how you feel.
I've been in earthquakes, and was there during a volcano eruption, but I've never really had any troubles that have lasted for a while like this. I'm suddenly understanding that maybe I have more luck than I thought.
Maybe it doesn't suck so much to be me after all...
