Passing silent disapproval
you glare at me with those pleading eyes
you push me away
you tell me to die
you beg me not to go with your eyes
I sit and I smile
and I won't say a thing
You beat me and kick me down
you tear down my walls
I've so carefully laid
You force me to look
at what I really am
I watch you
I scorn you
I love you still
I cannot be torn away
The blood, red rose petals,
still pours from the gash
in my ever-beating heart
