salut, ma copains! (et copines) my soccer team WON! today! yeay! the other team was really, really violent. they would come up behind our players and shove them when the ball was on the other side of the field! (that's waaaay illegal. fyi.) and they scored a goal because this girl grabbed gabi's arm and threw her to the ground and then scored. i thought gabi was going to go over and sock the ref. he was so biased, it was disturbing. this one girl punched courtney between the shoulder blades, and ref-guy called the foul on courtney. He called EVERY FREAKIN PUSH we did and about 20 that wasn't us. he called like 2 fouls on the other team, even tho the couldn't have been more obviously trying to kill us. their goalie pile-drove on of our forwards and then went for the ball. goalies can pile drive when they are going for the ball, but not before. i was really annoyed with this short chick who came up behind me and shoved me (once again, was the ball was on the complete other side of the field) so i was taking advatage of the fact that i had about 8 inches and 45 pounds on the girl and dug into her with my shoulder. the other coach goes "nice elbows, number 11!" (the pushers always get mad when you push back.) I wanted to say "Thanks, but they're not as good as her's!" but that guy needed to take an antatomy class, cause i wasn't elbowing on that play. my team was preeeetty pissed. meesh told danielle to "take me off the field, cause i'm going to punch somebody" . but we won anyway! and we didn't have to immatate WWF smackdown to do so. if we hadn't won, god. i would be SO mad right now i don't even...i can't even express it. (if u think i'm xaggerating about the violence, ask my mom. she was there. she agrees.)
so combat came in handy.
say goodbye to me soon, i'm going to die on tuesday. we are doing "portlands" for fitness. Gabi said those are four minute sprints. we are doing.......just guess.....18. although, danielle's bark is worse then her bite, so we may end up with just 10. aiyaaaaa.................

hewwo friends! i am in and UUUBER good mood. happy things just keep happening! i'll start w/thursday soccer. it started out normal enuf, fitness was normal-turned-killer by the dryness and heat...and we did 4v4 and i kept getting pushed into a position i didn't like. so to end practice, we played combat. combat is the absolute funnest game ever. basically you get a partner and a ball, and when danielle says "go" you do whatever you can to keep the ball at your feet. that means anything short of sending your partner to the E.R. we did it 3 times, and i was with natalie, kelsey and kenely. natalie and i slammed into eachother the whole time grabbing eachother's shirts and ponytails. it's one of those things where you laugh the ENTIRE time. i won! then i was against kelsey. that was the best. so danielle says "go" and we lunge and the ball, collide and tackle eachother to the ground. somehow, kelsey gets behind me and decks me with a flying tackle worthy of a martial arts movie. as she was running over me, i hugged her around the knees and she fell on her stomach. then, she grabbed my shorts and gave me a MONSTER wedgie that i got sick of after a while and grabbed her shorts and we danced in a wedgie-inducing circle. (sorta wrong...) i tried to pick her up and throw her, but she's about my height so it didn't really work. i won again! yesssssssssssss. next was kenely. she kicked it off by giving me a headlock. she flung her arms around my neck and pulled back. i was a split second away from chomping down on her arm (he he, feral instincts) but i thought that might be against the rules. so basically, there's 6 pairs of 14-year-old girls laughing, screaming and beating the crap out of eachother. meanwhile, danielle is standing on the sidelines with her massive cast yelling "THAT'S IT LADIES!! GO! GO! BEAT HER INTO THE GROUND! GRAB HER SHIRT! PUSH! PUSH! PANCE HER! PANCE HER! PANCE HER! PANCE HER!" danielle was a big advocate of pancing. (btw, this was practice for playing physcial teams. you take what we were doing, minus the headlocks and the obvious jersey pulling and that's how u go after the ball.)
vb won! and that was the other good thing. paulo is such an awsome cheerer. he's the only guy i know that'll jump around stomping and yelling: "GO! . . .UC....GO GO! YOU SUCK OTHER TEAM! GO....UC!" picture him doing that. in his cords. awsomely funny. very encouraging. we had quite a group of fans today. thanks guys, i felt special. <3 <3
