Lost in the darkness so alone, here I am,
like a prisoner lost in a battle alone here I stand,
here in this tilting dream I beg just to wake,
and through the dusted memorys forever here to stay.

Standing in the darkness gripping the ground so I cannot fade away,
like the rest of the nation that couldnt stand for a day,
Illutions of a childhood I wish I could just blow away,
lost in my mind it will never turn from gray.

And to a break in the memory you come ripping through,
like an an angel from heaven a dream has betrued,
and I stand their face stricken as you reach for my hand,
and blood drips from my eyes the blood that leaks from dying man.

I grab unto your hand and for a moment of bliss,
no longer alone the words taken like a song in the wisp,
but then you vanish and Im fallen behind standing alone and lost in my mind,
I wait for you like a funeral draped all In black an enernity here for you I shall stand.
