June 9 Vocation

Today, we had a conference with the formators. When it was Fr. Habado’s turn, he asked us to write our vocation stories. I was not petrified with the idea making the vocation story, but what bothered me was, if my story was really a vocation story.
VOCATION is a big word. Many define it as calling; however, a calling takes many forms. How can one be sure that it is really a calling or a vocation? How can one if he really is chosen by Him?
I, personally, am not sure if this is a vocation. It might be a misinterpretation. There is room f doubt I can’t shove away. Am I really meant to become a priest? Am I destined? Am I worthy? I don’t know. He, the supreme Almighty, only knows; nevertheless, even though it is beyond my understanding, I’ll make the best of what today has to offer and let He, who knows everything, shape my future.
