~~For my Mother~~

You run form me so fast and far,
How I long to hear your voice once more,
That bubbly laugh that stirs the room,
That washes away all the sorrow and gloom.
We would play together like mother and child,
Even if but once awhile.
But now I feel we have grown apart,
Let sing the song of a lonely heart.
The hate that boils under soft skin,
The face that hides the hearts every whim.
The words like briers in my mind,
The thoughts that haunt me all the time.
'Will I ever see your face again, but just to say, I would like it if you stay'
