This is how I make macaroni and cheese. In fact, I will only eat macaroni prepared this way. Other people think it's disgusting or weird, but I don't care. It's high class deliciousness if made exactly right, but it can go wrong very easily.
Ingredients:
1 package Kraft Shaped Macaroni and Cheese, preferably Scooby Doo or Pokémon. Water 2 Tbs Butter 3 Tbs 2% White Milk 1/2 tsp Salt
Tools: 1 Medium Saucepan 1 Stove 1 Wooden spoon or metal spatula 2 or more arms or similar manipulating appendages
Instructions: 1. Fill the Medium Saucepan about two thirds full of water.
2. Add the salt. If you do not have a 1/2 teaspoon measure, just shake a salt shaker until you see some white collect on the bottom.
3. Cover and bring to a boil.
4. Uncover and add macaroni noodles. Cook for exactly 4 and a half minutes. Do NOT follow the cooking time on the box.
5. Remove from heat. Put cover on pot and hold sideways over a sink to drain.
6. Cut the 2 Tbs of butter into small chunks and put them in the pot.
7. Put the pot back on the burner, this time with the heat set to Low or a little higher.
8. Constantly stir the mix until butter is completely melted.
9. Add milk. Stir the mix until the butter and milk have formed a slightly viscous goo.
10. Add cheese from packet.
11. Stir in cheese. This may take awhile for the cheese to be absorbed by the milk/butter goo, but that's normal. Do NOT add more milk. Just keep stirring until the cheese powder bonds with the milk/butter goo and becomes smooth.
12. Dump entire thing on a plate and retreat back into your bedroom, lest your roommate comes back and attempts to engage you in social interaction.
13. Eat quickly because it cools off fast. Once it's cold, there's no way for it to be revived.
