'Sarg. Why did we loose the war in Vietnam?'
The sargent answers him with a story:
" Well, there was this little fly, you see. One day he saw this large pile of s**t on the floor. Well, he was hungry so he flew down and ate until he couldn't eat anymore. That's when he realized, he was so full that he couldn't fly. So he looked around and saw a door and thought to himself 'If I could get up to the handle, I could jump off and let the wind take me away.' So he climbed up to the handle. When he finnaly got there, he jumped off. But.. he didn't fly, instead, he dropped to the ground and died. That is why we lost the war in Vietnam. We didn't learn that lesson."
Confused, the other soldier asks:
'What lesson is that Sarg?'
The sargent looks at him and says:
" Not to fly off the handle when you're full of s**t."
