Oceanic Depression
I feel the darkness settling in
no matter how I try I cannot swim
Harder and faster I try to go
But I cant resist its constant flow
A boat comes along to throw a line
But its so fragile and hard to find
I try to grip and hold on tight
But cold replaced what was my fight
I need your warmth and care with me
To travel through this darkened sea
Your love to invigorate,
Your voice to alleviate
The chills of my bones
And the sea full of moans.
But long ago you voice has gone
Over the horizon like passing dawn
No more warmth, here by my side
Just like our love, right here I died
I feel the darkness settling in
no matter how I try I cannot swim
Harder and faster I try to go
But I cant resist its constant flow
A boat comes along to throw a line
But its so fragile and hard to find
I try to grip and hold on tight
But cold replaced what was my fight
I need your warmth and care with me
To travel through this darkened sea
Your love to invigorate,
Your voice to alleviate
The chills of my bones
And the sea full of moans.
But long ago you voice has gone
Over the horizon like passing dawn
No more warmth, here by my side
Just like our love, right here I died
