I received a PM today with a link telling me to click it to get however much gold I wanted.... Are people really stupid enough to believe these scams!? Go to youtube and search Gaia Gold Hack and watch some of the ridiculous videos on there.

How many times have we been warned not to give out our usernames and passwords? How many more times before people actually listen? Anymore on Gaia if you want the Hot "It" items you are going to have to spend some cash because the rate at which they come out is so high. Whether it is on "Monthly Collectibles"(I still consider them donation items...) or cash shop items. The Gaia economy is really screwed up for those of us just on here posting for gold not spending cash but still want the premium items. It upsets me that Gaia even has premium content I did not mind donation items. Has it really reached the point that people are willing to risk all of the items the have worked for just for that quick gold?

If this is the case should Gaia take into consideration some sort of action? If so what kind? Are all of the people buying into the scams just getting their just reward? Or, are they partly victims of an unrepeatable economic system where Cash=Gold not time-spent, devotion, and loyalty.... An example of this would be how many post would you have to make to get a Death Whisper which after maybe a little over a month was already at 143,038g.

It used to be in the heyday of Gaia one could purchase a donation item for 2,000-4,000g. Now Gaia cannot be held responsible for what people list their auction items for, but with the current price of donation items around 25,000-45,000g each when they come out. Why hasn't Gaia taken some kind of step to fix the system. I would agree that the premium content has given Gaia the funds to do a lot more, however they are now receiving a lot more sponsorships than they used to and hasn't their greed gone far enough? The scales weighing the money they are earning the the content the content they are giving back are very tipped in their favor...
