There are many types of vampires out there they don't all drink blood like you see in movies. A few examples are Sanguinarian, Empath, PSI, PSY, Astral, Elemental, Fetishist, Sexual, Lifestylers, Clinical, Role-Players, and Psychotic Vampires.
Sanguinarian vampires are the blood drinkers and this is what more people would think of when they hear the word vampire they crave or need blood and they require more blood then other blood drinkers. Empath vampires feed off of emotions before you say anything I'd like to tell you they do not do this physically at all some also like to intensify emotions so they can feed more and a few can also project there emotions into others as another form of feeding they can project or feed off of any emotion they choose. PSI vampires are also known as energy vampires and feed off the life force of others or their chi again this is not done physically but if they choose some can also drink blood. PSY vampires only feed off of others energy and do not consume blood at all. Quote: A psychic vampire is a vampire who is psychic while a psi-vampire is a vampire who feeds on energy, preferably emotional energy. Astral vampires feed in the astral plane and attack in that level often they do not need any physical contact with their prey and they seek weaker prey these vampires often can stay in the astral plane longer than others. Elemental vampires feed off of natural forces and have no interest of feeding off of living beings or what they have to offer. Fetishist vampires i believe are the weirdest type and they kinda of creep me out. These vampiresgains sexual satisfaction from either drinking blood or having their blood drank. eferred as "Permanent role-players" they use all the mythical signs of vampirism and everything you see in the movies. Unlike some RPs instead of giving up the RP they go farther and farther into it. Clinical vampire's bodies actually *crave* and *require* blood in order to maintain normal functioning. Quote: While mainstream medical science would laugh at such a notion it's exactly that sort of shallow, narrow-minded yet "we care about you" thinking that nearly killed some folks when it first started. Role-Players are indulged in a fantasy role-play much like dungeons and dragons and take it upon themselves to become their character. Psychotic Vampires doesn't take much explanation these vampires like to "hunt" for "victims" instead of using donors these are by far the most dangerous and their attacks are random.
