Aphrodite thought long and hard on her way to the café that night. Maybe he did. But then did he leave it there? Or was he lying? Or better yet. Does it really matter?
Aphrodite arrived at the café 30minutes early. She ordered a white mocha small and found herself a table with only two chairs.
“I thought we would sit over here.” said the man from her dreams.
Aphrodite turned around quickly to see him across the room.
“Oh and by the way my name is Seth.” said Seth.
“I am really not interested in you ‘Seth’ I am already meeting someone here in about 30minutes.” replied Aphrodite.
“Oh yes, Tyler. I am sorry but he can not make it.” replied Seth.
Just then Tyler walked in.
“Oh really,” said Aphrodite.
Tyler walks over next to Aphrodite and says, “Um who are you talking to?”
Aphrodite was just about to point at Seth when she looked back over there and he was gone. Hmmm I wonder how he keeps disappearing like that?
“He can do that, just like I can,” said Tyler.
“How did you know I was thinking that?” asked Aphrodite.
“Alright come on. Follow me,” said Tyler. That what not what Aphrodite wanted to hear.
Aphrodite followed him anyway. They went out to a near by ledge that’s near the lake. After a while Aphrodite asked, “So are you going to give me an explanation?”
“I am trying to think of a way to tell you without you freaking out. Or not believing me,’’ said Tyler.
"Just say it right out and I will believe you" she said.
"I'm...I'm...I'm a Vampire."stuttered out Tyler.
"O.M.G. Are you like serious?" she asked.
"I knew you wouldn't believe me." he said.
She was about to speak when she blinked once and he was gone.
