[parents] Ethan Walker and Georgia Walker nee MacOwen. [siblings] Violet Walker, Holly Sand nee Walker, Benjy Walker [family life] Things are a little bit strained between Finn and his parents, since their falling out. Although the family is all on speaking terms again, and they try to be kind and polite, there's still some bad blood. It's usually pretty easy to ignore, though. Finn is very close to Holly and Benjy. On the other hand, he hardly ever sees Violet.
[appearance] Finn is tall, at 6'4", and has more or less filled out in recent years. He has a sturdy build, especially compared to his wiry teenage years. His wavy blonde hair is usually unkempt, but it works with his unconventional style. It's not totally out there, but it's enough to garner a second glance on the streets. Finn tries to never wear the same glasses two days in a row. He's invested a lot of money into a collection them so that he never gets bored of the frames.
[history/biography] He had a pretty normal childhood growing up. It was only when he told his parents he was gay at eighteen that things started going off track. They kicked him out of the house. He'd always been a sarcastic, pessimistic person, but now it became really noticeable. He moved in with his boyfriend and bandmate, who he had previously said was just a really, really, really good friend. His boyfriend helped him pay for college, but it was difficult with no support. He was constantly stressed by working two jobs plus the workload, and was doing horribly. It all felt so hopeless - especially since he didn't even really want to be a musician. Not for a career anyway. He wanted to open a cyber cafe. When his boyfriend told him he had been saving up enough money on the side to open a small business, Finn took the opportunity to quit school and focus on his dream.
At first it was tough, but it worked. He was making enough money to support himself, and things were good. He was pretty sure his boyfriend was an angel, because he even managed to get the Walkers all speaking again. The estrangement was forgiven but not forgotten. It was better than nothing, though. Just when Finn thought his life was perfect, his boyfriend decided to fly away with an employee of his. The band was forced to break up. One would think he would go back to being bitter and angry at the world, but after some thinking, he decided he didn't want to go back to that life. While he was happy, so many good things had happened to him. Maybe it was superstitious, but he believed that thinking positive made positive. So, he vowed to live a more positive life from then on.
[personality] Finn is absolutely, sickeningly, obnoxiously cheerful. It can really get on people's nerves, and Finn knows it. In fact, he finds it funny. Finn's favorite thing to do is find grumpy people and surround them with rainbows and fluffy bunnies. Maybe it's a little bit sadistic, but he just thinks it's comedy gold, the way they huff and b***h. Then there are the people who actually like being around happy people. They usually find him charming and pleasant, which Finn also enjoys. He loves the limelight. In fact, the only people that Finn really doesn't like being around are the true assholes; the ones that drown kittens and steal candy from babies. They make him uncomfortable, angry, and a little bit depressed.
[likes] Teasing, concerts, plays, reading, reading the nutrition information on boxes, kids, looking at funny pictures (of cats) on the web.
[dislikes] Pollution, having to be the voice of reason, being the designated driver, people who worry a lot, people who won't try new things.
[Alignment] Chaotic Good
