Cole came into a sitting position as the other she-wolf came toward her, screeching about some-sort of curse. The she-wolf's yellow-green eyes gave her the name Emerald, which seemed very unfitting that such an evil soul should be named after a gem. Cole shrugged off the thought and dropped the rubies at Emerald's paws. Dark patches like you don't belong on the clean mountain. trailed off Emerald. Glaring at Cole, she took the gems and walked off toward the camp. When Emerald left, a single tear drop fell from Cole's eye. She desperately wanted to howl out her pain, but knew it was against the laws set by normal white wolves to not make a sound. This was one of many rules set so that the rest of the wolves could live peacefully. As she thought about this, she came up to a small ledge and lay on it. Cole lay her head on top of her crossed forepaws and tilted her head to the side. At this angle, and with no prior knowledge, one might think she was quite beautiful. Perhaps even a bit lonely. Her tail twitched ever so slightly with the wind, as if dancing. Cole raised her head, letting the crisp wind through her thick fur. After a moment, she noticed that she had never traveled here before. Her ears became alert to approaching paw steps. Being down-wind, she never even smelled them coming, but now the smell flooded her nostrils. It wasn't Emerald. It wasn't even a she-wolf. Hello most strange one! I've never seen you around before...
