It was a dark and stormy night. Why? Because what I am about to tell you always happens on dark and stormy nights, it’s never ‘It was a bright and sunny afternoon’.
Guess where I was? I, of course, was stuck outside in the storm. Well not outside I was in my car but that’s not the point.
So I was driving home or the direction I thought was home, it was hard to tell in the rain. I had just left my grandparent’s farm when this beast of a storm hit. By this time I had been driving for half an hour and only passed about 2 houses. I decided the next one I saw I was going to stop at. You can probably tell right now that this is going to be a bad choice, right? It’s practically right out of a horror movie. You’re always screaming at the screen telling them not to go into the creepy house.
Well before I could even find a house, my car broke down. Oh and as a side note, never buy Volkswagens they’re a piece of s**t. Anyway I was forced to walk, in the rain, without a shirt on. Now I’ll skip to the good part. I had just gone into the mansion, creepy, dark, and damp. I expected as much. It looked like nobody lived there for a while.
I sort of peeked and prodded around for a bit, looking for somebody or signs that somebody actually lived there. “This place is a dump.” I said aloud trying to make myself feel better. As soon as I said that, a huge a** bat whizzed past my ear. Then blood began to trickle down my neck.
“s**t!” I stumbled back and put my hand up to my neck. “******** bat.” I then took out my katana. Hey if you’re going into a creepy a** house, you better be prepared. I was getting pretty freaked out at this point.
Then I heard someone cough, deliberately. I turned around, katana gripped in both of my hands. I could hardly make the figure out, I only saw a silhouette, but it was clear it was a shadow of a woman. And she was holding the bat.
“You weren’t thinking about hurting my baby were you?” The woman said.
“Oh. Um. No never! Of course not! I was just-”
“Good. Because if you were, there would be certain… consequences,” she stepped forward. I strained my eyes to see. She was so pale that she might as well be dead, and her hair was nearly the same. I took a step back while she kept advancing forward. “You smell,” she stopped for a split second, looking pointedly at the wound on my neck. “Good enough to eat.”
“Um I was just um… leaving. Sorry if I bothered you!” I turned around trying to get to the door but there she was right in front of me, in the blink of an eye. “s**t. I’m going to ******** die aren’t I?”
“Of course darling. But it will be the best thing that will ever happen to you.” She smiled then, a sweet seductive smile, but there was a hint of something untamed in her eyes. I didn’t scream, what’s the use? But she was right, it was the best thing that has ever happened to me.
