So, as I sit here bored and doodling, l begin to wonder to myself about promises, about the theory of promises and what they actually mean. People say promises are meant to be kept, meant to be sacred and such, yet every day it seems more and more like they are just becoming so... useless. Like saying "I promise" is ssaying "l will try". I mean, even marriages, which are promises of the highest caliber, are broken so easily that people don't seem to even remember what a promise is. Of course, this comes from the realization yesterday that l am really the only virgin l know, of some caliber. I mean, even Levi, the biggest christian l know, the biggest bible thumper has had sex, even though we made a promise to wait, yet here l am, left with a broken promise. Though l don't know why this surprises me, my family has never kept a promise to me, has never even bothered to attempt it.
But meh, so whatever. People promise not to hurt me, do things that intentionally hurt me, promise to do things and it never happens, etc etc.
Oh well.
