~Chapter 1~
We met in the shadows of a junk yard. Looking for some spare parts for a car, I was cornered by a pack of stray canines. I tripped over a metal bar. As I tried to get up, the canines came closer. That's when he came in. He grabbed the metal bar in front of me and whacked one of the canines. He knocked it out, watching the others run off, pouting. He helped me out of the darkness and lead me to a place surrounded by trees. I sat down and looked at him. "Thank you." I muttered. "No problem. I couldn't just leave such a beautiful girl behind to be eaten by canines." He smiled. Suddenly, a rustling sound came from within the bushes. I whipped my head around. The bushes parted and revealed other men. They were his friends. They were a gang that roamed the forest and junk yard. He introduced us.

We talked for hours! As it got dark I decided to head back to the junk yard. "It was nice meeting you!" I said running off. His friends left, but he was still there. He ran after me and grabbed my hand. Startled, I turned around. There was a slight pause. "Uh...I just needed to tell you something." He whispered. I placed her hand on his chest. "What is it?" I asked. My eyes where locked on his. "I...I..."
