I didn't have much money, and all of my friends were either flying off to some sunny southern destination, or doing stuff with their boyfriends, so I agreed to house sit and take care of my aunt & uncle's great dane (Steele) all last week.

It's not as bad as it sounds: they have a sauna, a huge fireplace, a kick-a** sound system, and a giant bath tub, so it was heavenly. Plus they left the fridge fully-stocked. It was sunny the first weekend so I got to go on a few long walks and bicycle rides, and walk on the beach too, even though it was only in the high 60's/low 70's.

Because it rained most of the week on Cape Cod, I read a lot, did some writing, watched movies, sat in the sauna, drank a few bottles of their wine (hee hee), played with the dog (and gave him 3 baths because of all the mud), and just lazed around.

It was pretty fun after all! rofl
