Title is a lyric from West Side Story, by the way. Frickin' awesome movie. So psychology with Mr. Fruitcake was today. He was doing a dream anylizing thing, and when describing what we thought someone else's dream might have meant, he insisted that we talk as if it was our dream... which was really dumb. "Well, I think maybe the two versions of you-" "You mean, 'the two versions of me'" And every time he anylized one, he closed his eyes. But I managed to get my revenge today. Oh yes I did. We were talking about projection. He was describing projection to us, and he said, "It's hard to notice when you're doing it, it's like your mind is nailing something to down" (implying that it was being nailed on someone else.) And I said, "Yes, but sometimes you can see it, like if the thing you've nailed down twitches post-mortem." And this disconcerted him. So now I'm going to use death analogies in every session.
