As the last day of 2010 starts, here are my thoughts. This was a good year and so much has happened for me. In this year, I totaled my first car in an accident that wasn't my fault. I got a $104,000 scholarship to a liberal arts school that I love. I won a regional competition to get said scholarship, and it was probably the happiest and most accomplished day of my life. I established one club, got another prepared for the next school year, and was president of two overall. I got a pitbull puppy named Kujo who I love to death, even though he's afraid of strangers and barks when my friends visit. I graduated high school this year. I also got my associates degree. I decided on what I wanted to major and minor in, (which has been a LOT of trouble, believe me.) I moved four and a half hours away from home. I made new best friends and had the best college semester of my life [grade wise anyway]. I got the highest grade in a math class since the eighth grade. I attended a dance the administration told us we weren't allowed to have. I went on a road trip to wyoming on a whim. I spent six hours straight facepainting for charity. I got my wisdom teeth out and was nearly better by that night. I got past my procrastination, but not my stress levels.I got a brand new laptop. I
almost spent all of my meal plan money. I went to my first club and my first professional basketball game. I got my first shotgun. I made it through Latin class even though I wanted to shoot my teacher with my brand new shotgun. I went to hawaii and biked down a volcano. I got to see my favorite comedian, live. I went to my first concert. I met a gay asian who taught me how to play beer pong. I made it through my first semester of a long distance relationship. I learned how to live without tv. I've actually got plans for new years eve. Of all the Dec. 31st's I've spent pondering my year, for once, I'm proud of it. And even if no one ever reads this, my year was pretty damn awesome and at least its written down somewhere.
