Ok, I've been in a car for basically 36 or so hours. I got to drive which was exciting, I was in actual traffic for a while. Oddly, for those who didn't know, some highways in Texas and New Mexico only have a lane of traffic for each direction right now. They split the south bound into a very small two lane. Sorry I can't talk to all of you. That is what I miss most about home. No matter where I go I'll think of all of you. Of course we are trying to find all of the 50 states' licence plates, and we are up to 33. Still don't have Alaska, that would be a prize. Now that I have the laptop with a 'net connection for a few minutes I thought I would update all of you. (Still don't use ya'll, haven't been in the South long enough for that, but who knows I might come back with an accent.) I am still alive, and if you are worried about it I'm happy also. Oh well, send me email, I can get that once in a while. When I get back I will tell all of you who ask about my trip. OR if you are smart you keep up with my travel logs on here.
