Ok, so I'm driving home from work. Obviously I was tired, because there was some song on the radio that kept repeating the word 'left'. Of course, this got me thinking of the word left, which got me thinking of hands, which got me thinking about why we call our hands left and right. Now this is going to sound completely weird, but I figured it out.
We call the right hand Right because it's right, meaning correct. The left hand is just the hand that's left. Silly, right?
