Working now. Today was ten hours long. Okay, I lie. It was 8 1/2. It was written on the schedule printout as 10 hours. Buuuut, my manager took a look and told me that it was wrong and I went home at 4:30. Yay! Still I have over 30 hours for this week. I feel a bit dumb for following Da's advice and asking for any hours. I'd be happy with 20. Seriously.

My feet hurt. A lot. I ride my bike to work (although if it ever gets stolen, I'll be forced to walk again.) The ride is around 40 minutes in the morning when I go in, and an hour when I leave. I start in the morning. No/less traffic, thus the easier ride with a shorter duration. Still doing better time than MapQuest predicted. XD Because I'm not WALKING. But, yes. I stand in place for the most part for the majority of my day. I need new shoes. And since my plantar stuff isn't as bad, I may just invest in some nice sneakers.

Working in produce is better than front end as far as the stress level goes. I put things on shelves! Yay! I'm pretty good at that. Sadly, I'm not too fast. My co-worker/semi-manager is scary. He's silent, doesn't have many moments of smiles, and he's FAST. I was intimidated. Sunday was nice when I was working by myself at my own pace. Yes, I unloaded four carts. Not much, but I was checking expiration dates, moving the newer things to the back. Dude. Today, Mr. Stewart was like POW POW DONE. And I'm standing next to him caught up in two reactions. WOW and why isn't he checking the dates and going by the first in-first out rule? I did learn a few things to speed myself up a bit tomorrow, but I'm not looking forward to working side by side with Speedy Gonzalez. If you know what I me-an.

The dog is annoying, I'm having less fun, and my bathing schedule makes me angry. (Where did all my baths go?) I'm hitting the sack in a couple hours. Later, mis amigos.
