in the midst of the night
i thought i saw a light
when God seemed to whisper
that he's answered a prayer
but thoughts still go to crowd
how can i speak so loud
when i am silenced, i am numb
i just stared down the ground
in the midst of the evening
i thought if i should be praying
if only for a light whispering
should my prayers be answered again?
if then so wondering,
is felicity on my reach
or is it just a fantasy
running from my grip?
