She was the moon and I am the night,
I held her in my arms in dawn's wake.
Her eyes bore her soul,
My heart was hers to take.
I loved her at once,
though I knew she could never feel the same.
I let my self fall,
In her cruel arms my heart lay.

I let our game play.
