Josephine's fight that night..
Josephine approached the woods with caution. The sounds were silent in the trees, her mind was calm though, absorbing all information she could. The tree limbs would probably provide a cover for the assassins, while Josephine would have to use the roots to her advantage. The trees were her friends, and she offered them apologies as she passed by them for what was to come. There was a strong possibility that a few might have a few wounds themselves.

Josephine approached a familiar tree, one she actually touched on her way back to the castle, it still held a bit of warmth to its bark and it even offered a slight shifting in its branches to greet her like an old friend. “I must apologize, old friend. We are going to have a long night.” The vampire was truthful in this, the tree knew it and offered another shifting in branches and a groan as the wind pass through its leaves. “Prepare for the battle.” Dropping her duffle back at the base of the tree, Josephine lowered to a slight kneel next to it. Pulling the zipper open, she watched with caution and poise as she geared up for what was to come.

The cloak was taken off, shifted to the ground as the sundress was secured to her body. Artillery belt held small daggers and a few throwing stars. The blade retracted for her protection. A simple push of a tiny button would send them shooting out, scaring anyone who came in contact with them. Made of silver, they were deadly weapons if yielded properly. “Hello..” Said a purring sultry voice as she pulled out a pair of Japanese sais, the deadly offensive weapons her favorite by far. Caressing the silver like a lover after a long absence. She seemed to smile in seduction as they were slipped into their holsters at her thighs. “Ready..?”

Everything was secure, the glint of silver and gold on her person hidden beneath that traveling cloak once more. Seductive gaze turned more serious as she climbed that of friend of a tree, to secure herself along its branches. As if expecting her gaze to follow, it seemed a rush of wind opened the leaves, offering a clear view to her targets. The wind carried their scents, elves. Bastards. Pointy eared bastards (Star Trek, tm) Josephine smiled inwardly while her outside appearance seemed to remain stern and controlled. “Bring it..” The words whispered slightly as she leapt from the branch, hurling herself into their tree with the support of the wind.

A battle cry like no other noted that the pair were caught off guard, Josephine managed to knock them clear of their perch and onto the forest ground. Each one supported her fall, leaving her undamaged, while the others were forced into gasping for air. “Questions..?” The vampire smiled before climbing off the pair, brushing her hands along their sides as if prepping them for some sort of surgery. She was certainly going to be the doctor.

They both rose, the smaller of the two helping his older brother up. “Look, Josephine. We just had a few questions.” He’d speak as his brother grunted getting off the ground. “No, we don’t, Daniel. We want her dead, they all want her dead.”
Josephine seemed to not be phased by the harsh words, instead she smiled sweetly at them. “Questions or not. You are here for a reason.” Those crimson eyes turned towards the younger brother. “..And that reason is my head. But I offer something greater.” With that, she reached behind her coyly. Beneath her cloak, each hand grabbed a throwing star with precision, lifting them from their holsters and activating the blades. “How about his!” A lunge forward threw each of the stairs at the bigger brother who was still rising from his position. He fell backwards once more, landing with a thud but otherwise unharmed by the sudden attack.

Josephine had already started moving on the offensive. Using a nearby tree for a bit of lift, she hurled herself once more towards the pair, pulling those deadly sais from her thighs. Blade first she rushed for them with deadly accuracy and precision. Aiming for each of their torsos. Two swords met her attack with a swing, one slicing her in the upper arm near the bone. It healed quickly, but not before the pair caused a slight scream from the Vampire Princess. She said nothing as she rose from the ground, with hardly enough time for a counter attack as they approached. Bouncing up quickly, and with great ease, Josephine rushed for their midsections, knocking them backwards and onto their own tails. The older and bigger brother was a little more difficult. While she had the small brother pinned, Josephine was weak, back turned to the massive male who used it to his advantage.

Grabbing her hair, he pulled the vampire to her feet, her screaming a bit intoxicating at first. Once she was secure there he shoved her, knocking her into a tree with a solid, well heard thud. Josephine’s limp body fell backwards, onto the ground, eyes shut with no motion or activity.

The two approached her cautiously. Each one reaching out with the point of their swords to see if she was still alive. They both sliced her dress and the stomach tissue beneath to be satisfied she was not moving. The blood flowed, but her body remained otherwise motionless. More interestingly she didn’t heal like before.

Looking at one another, they both smiled, offering each other a hand shake and confirmed congratulations for the kill. The both tied her wrists and ankles around her boots to secure he, she’d be taken back to the village as tribute of the win.

Josephine’s head was ringing when she woke back up. Stupid elves thought she was dead, thus left their guard down as they slept. Peering around, the sun had started to rise and teased the ground outside of the tent they had. The bigger male was sleeping next to her, actually almost cuddled up to her side like some sort of lover. Peering dangerously, she moved to look about the room, only to find there were no weapons in it. He left them outside apparently. Unzipping the tent would surely wake him, there had to be something to help her.

Peering towards the door, she could see the shadow of the sword just outside the door, it was stabbed into the ground, marking the tent as occupied, but also .. sort of like a do not disturb sort of symbol. Wait –

Looking down, Josephine noticed the blood that coated her dress, while the wound had started to heal, it was a slow process. With the lack of blood for regeneration, she was going to parish before this was over. Instead, she made a move. Quickly leaping upwards, causing the move to wake the larger elf, Josephine managed to open the tent and grab the blade with a tuck and roll of her body. “Ha!”

The sharp tip was pointed directly at the male with a bit of a smirk. His younger brother coming from his tent not at all ready to fight.

“He killed your family, Lotus. He killed my family, he killed everyone’s family at that place.” Josephine spoke, clearing up the haze that plagued the clan. “He installed fear of everyone outside. The Bloodmoons are not like that. They drink off of donated blood for godsake.” Josephine switched her gaze for a moment between the smaller and larger brother. “They are peaceful and do not deserve this. Now, promise you will not return..?” The older brother shook his head with a laugh. “Not in your dreams!” Josephine sighed softly. The younger brother did not agree with this verdict. “Lotus..” He’d whisper softly. “No! We will keep hunting you, Princess. You don’t deserve to be queen, and you life, as far as you know it, is over.” Josephine shook her head. “Than I truly am sorry.” She said talking to the smaller of the brothers.

One swift move Josephine moved the blade towards the large male, otherwise cutting him sufficiently through. His head, rolled, kissing his brothers feet. It was than, Josephine dropped the blade. The shock of losing his brother was just enough time for Josephine to escape, but not before she had words. “What I said was true, Daniel. He killed your parents. Your brother knew this..” It was then she turned, running towards her old friend the tree and her duffle bag.

Once there, she was a good distance away, it seemed the vampire needed a breath. Reaching into the bag she grabbed a small knife, flipping it open and relieving herself from her bindings. Leaving the bag and ropes behind she realized just how weak she was. Her adrenaline was gone, her body was shaking and the castle was becoming a blur. She needed blood … and now…
