Hahaha, I want to kick Steven Karp in the teeth. No really, seriously, I do.
Aj, Riley, I know you'll help.
He attempted to discuss religion with me..ahem..let me rephrase that. He said "BLAH I r opinionated ignorant ******** of an athiest and I think anyone who has any faith is stupid" (ie; he did refer to anyone who held any religious belief as stupid, and that he was allowed to be so opinionated.. This started when I went "Can you explain this to me. Here's what I don't get about athiesm, why devote time to not believing in a religion and putting a label on yourself, rather then just saying "I'm not religious?"he replied; well, because im not affraid of other peoples opinions If i don't believe im not going to hide it so people dont talk its not my buisness if they want to be stupid. im like...the steriotype political rebel (sidenote; THAT'S REALLY FUNNY OHGOD)and we dont devote time to it eather, it makes our lives simpler" wink
SO as my little "I hate close-minded pricks" rant for today.
Athiesm; I don't have a problem with it, as long as you're not being a hypocritical assface about it. My best friend is an athiest, and she handles it with a lot of grace, and RESPECTS other peoples opinions.
I understand the thought and theory behind athiesm. Trust me, I've had many a conversation about it. I know lots of athiests. (it's a fad.)
I also took a lot of amusement out of the fact that he said he was a .. Political rebel...stereotype..? UHMWTF AHAHAHAHAHA. Ever heard of Che Guavera ther steven? How about Bob Marley. I'm sure I could pull a couple more names who are stereotypes, and or more like political rebel stereotypes then you are... like.. Mother Thereasa. What have you done to prove what a hxc stereotype of a political rebel you are? Nothing.. Hm, that's what I thought.Just because you're an athiest does not make you a rebel. It makes you a teenage fad jumper. You're just a 14 year old boy whose trying to be tough by jumping on the new band wagon. Lyk omg, Athiesm is like, TOTALLY the new Kabalah!
If he's a political rebel stereotype..then I'm.. Martha Stewart, or some other very highly organized, creatively challenged, super happy person on this earth... OPRAH!
Then again, Steve has always been one not for opinions, but for stirring s**t up, creating arguements, then kissing a** when he realizes his opinions hold no real fact or ground and are just supported by his own teenage idiocies that he blatantly stole from the bands on MTV.
LOLZYOU'RESOHARDCORE.
I guess what ticked me off about this was that well.. I don't give a flying ******** what religion you are, as long as you show me and my beliefs respect. I'll mirror whatever respect you show me. But if you're going to parade around disrespecting peoples choice to believe because you're a proud athiest (And marxist, appearantly..)with that 'holier then tho' attitude, then you can shove your head in a blender. (: I'd be glad to help.
I know this rant in itself may sound a tad hypocritical. But it's not the belief of Athiesm that I'm looking down on (it's not that at all.), it's Steven Karps arrogance about it that's ticked me off. If you're so mad that people are "shoving" their opinions in your face you can take two routes. a) Ignore it. Or hold a DISCUSSION (not a debate. You can't debate religion.) about it. Become a bit more open-minded. Maybe you'll understand the other side of the story. b) Make your MSN name "I'm a proud athiest AND marxist." Then shove it in everyone elses face (much like you don't like being done to you), go on a rant about how superior you are because of your lack of faith and how you aren't held down by it, and lose any respect from people like me. Because you like to be a s**t-disturber.
Haha I hate preteen twats.
Honestly, I could go on for HOURS about this. I think this irritated me so much because, well, steve pisses me off in general. He's shown me nothing but disrespect, and god knows how many times I've made him cry, put him in his place, almost punched him in the face, pushed him into rivers (me and steve go way back) etc.. But he's still this...annoying p***k who thinks he's hot s**t. Goes to prove, I guess, that the only way people change is if they want to. If he wants to have his head shoved up his a**, he can go right ahead. Just not around me, because I won't put up with his s**t.
heart -Sam.
p.s. Work was fun. I broke the roof. I had a blast.
