That's the motto she would always preach to me.
"Now Paige, you know the Golden Rule. Treat others how you'd like them to treat you."

They finally sold your house.
The place I would run around outside, pretend I was someone else.
The place you'd make me snacks.
The place where I learned to love to read.
The place I learned that I loved to draw, paint, and color.

There were so many memories in that house. It makes me very sad that no one in the family could have kept it.
It wasn't a "beautiful" house by any means.
It was old. Falling apart in places.
But it was a house to me. A place where I learned many things and had so many memories.

I still get sad.
I forget you're gone sometimes.
You never realize how much someone means to you, or how they impacted you until they're gone.
We may have not met eye to eye on a lot of things.
You may have believed in a god that I'm not so sure I believe in.
But you were still my great grandmother.
You still taught me many things, and loved me no matter my choices.
You still supported me, even though I sometimes had no idea what I was doing.

I wish I could go back, and tell myself "spend more time with her! She's not going to be around forever!"
But I can't.
So now I just have to cherish the good memories of her, and remember the times we DID spend together.

I hope you're doing great wherever you are, Mom-Mom.
Our family's still kicking, and we loved you with every ounce in our bodies.
