Rest -
I scatter pictures on the floor,
I leave the door halfway closed,
I close my eyes, and there I see,
the one I thought was meant to be,
I open my eyes in an endless fury,
seeing your face makes me scurry.
The memories from a time ago,
were forgotten long before,
I look outside, the mist has fallen,
Showing me a path regarded,
as the road scarcely walked in,
the place where demon’s freely
roam.
Blurry-eyed but not blinded, I see
the sun’s ray upon on,
the road I so long had decided,
not to set foot on anymore.
With some strength I had begotten,
I walk the road with a sense of stardom.
For there was where I had gotten
back my life, my home, and all I own.
The deadly deed was so tempting, I could not
help but remembering, the night where I finally
had the will, to change the way my life stayed still.
The morning breeze was so refreshing, like a wave quietly
passing, all it did was keep trees guessing, why I was so
scenically happy.
Along the road, some leaves were blown, and I could not
help but smile, as I looked up and opened the door,
where your body was rotting and bound.
That was your fate, you chose it that way, I did it for the best,
but don’t worry about me, my dear, just-
rest...
