When somebody says "The truth comes out when somebody is angry", it's kind of true. Let's say you have a friend who you told all your deepest secrets to; you two get into a heated argument. How do they handle the situation? Do they escalate it, or try to solve the problem? Them showing their true colors would be if they said something that would trigger you in order to hurt you, if they resorted to violence, or if they isolated themselves to calm themselves down so that emotions don't get in the way of a solution. Them being angry will most likely show what kind of person they are.
