Jaykay. So Otakon was my first conventiontypething EVER, right? Andomg it was a headache. But a good headache. :'D SOANYWAYS. I'm going to try to make this entry notaslong as my last entry (thank gawd), so to keep it short:
DAYONE.
I went to Otakon. It was scary. I didn't know anyone, and the convention center is reallyREALLY big? Kindasorta justmaybe. I basically came to the con just knowing Icysnowgirl of Gaia and Melissa from the Japan trip. x: Andyeah. It was kinda scary being around thousands of people and not knowing anyone. But then Icy introduced me to Bugonatree, Scripps, TheMessiah, and Nall-kun, and they were nice enough. <33
The gaia panel was fun and stuffs. I heart how Jakobo takes charge until someone asks a difficult question, then he kinda drops the bomb on Lanzer. XDDD Everyone was asking all these technical questions about the site and glitches and stuffs like that, but then a Gino-cosplayer got up and asked, "where's my mommy?" XD;
After the panel, Icy dragged me off so she could talk to some of her modish friends like Kava and Kender and stuffs, and since we were hanging around them, we somehow managed to get invited to have dinner with Jakobo and Lanzer. o _o; Or at least, Icy got invited, so I got invited by proxy 'cause I've been tagging along with Icy. XDD; I had to leave after dinner, though. x:
DAYTWO.
I died. Nosrsly. My legs were still in pain. By the end of day one, it felt like I'd been playing volleyball or riding a horse the ENTIRE day. Just STANDING UP made me want to cry; it was THAT bad. By day two, I felt a lot better, but it still was sore and stuffs and omg.
NOTONLY were my legs dying, but I nearly died THREE TIMES during the Gaia social. Jakobo got up on the second floor, and he started throwing away freebies out into the crowd of crazyobsessedfanpeoples, and yanno what? That's never a good idea. A kiki plush landed right in front of me (which Messa caught yayforhim), a T-shirt landed RIGHT behind me, and an AFK hat landed to my left. THREE TIMES I nearly got trampled by people. @ ___@; People were really shoving and getting aggressive over a few items and it was kinda insane. Just kinda.
Icy had to leave early 'cause a friend of hers wasn't feeling well, and Messa went after her, but Nenya, Arkadi, and his brother found me, and I had met Nenya and Arkadi the day before, so I spent the next few hours with them and stuffs. n ___N They treated me to lunch (thanks so much, bytheway if you're reading this!) and we went to the Artist's Alley (which woulda been so much awesomer if they called it the "Artistic Alley" wink and yuh. :'D Nenya and Arkadi are engaged and they're just the cutest couple EVER. Fo' serious.
OHOH. Nall was dressed as dark!Link from the Twilight Princess and it was SO awesome and sekushi that he kept getting stopped every five minutes to pose for pictures. But you can't get mad at him 'cause HE'SSOADORABLE.
DAYTHREE.
Not much happened on the last day. We did the whole dealer's room/artist alley thing again, but it wasn't anything horribly special. People had to leave to go home and stuffs and once it hit me, it was really sad to not be able to see everyone again. x:
On the bright side, after everyone left, I went back to Nenya, Arkadi, and Daniel's hotel and we lazed around a bit. It was actually really fun. XD; I also learned that Arkadi and Danny are reallyREALLY ticklish. XDD And! Danny can't burrow through bedsheets to save his life. XD IHEARTTHESEPEOPLE. <3!

How was the dinner with Lanzer? I've always wondered what he was like. And too bad you didn't catch any of the freebies, though doing so may have had grave consequences concerning your well being lol .
