I wrote this little song because I was thinking of someone I really cared about...I still do...and I really want to see him again...

*~The Caged Bird~*

I know why the caged bird flaps
its wings,
While all the little children
laugh and sing.
I know why the caged bird beats
its bars,
It longs to fly,
In the sky, away and far.

I know why the sky above is blue,
And I just can't help falling
In love with you.
Is being so in love really
All that wrong??
But it feels so nice, I could probably sing
A song.

Somehow I get this feeling,
That I can't breathe everytime you stare at me,
Neh...oh please don't laugh at me...ohhh...

And I know...why leaves flutter
in the breeze.
Yes, I know... why the wind blows
All through the trees.
So let us go...to where no one
Will interfere.

Listen to the caged bird
Chirp and cheer,
As I softly whisper
In your ear.

I know why the caged bird sings
its song.
It sounds so nice, I could probably sing its song.

La-la-la-la-la---
La, la, la, la,
I just can't believe how good this feels,
To love someone, and know that someone loves you too.

I know why the caged bird sings his song,
And why he flaps his wings, and beats against the bars.
I know why the caged bird longs to be free.
This feels so nice,
It feels as though I'm in
A dream.

Feels so nice, I think that I'm in a dream,

It's to bad, 'cause it's really just...a dream.....

He sorta reminds me of the book I read in 9th grade, "I know why the Caged Bird Sings" by Maya Angelou...I dunno, just felt like telling you guys how I've been feelin' lately...
