After the time-skip, this little girl had come into Kohona. Her name was (as rumored) Uchiha Saruga. She was about 12 years, and Sasuke at that time was 16. Orochimaru and Uchiha Itachi were defeated and Sasuke was saved. It is also rumored that when Itachi killed his clan, she was in another village exploring and training as she too was advanced just like Itachi. And thus, she was known as Uchiha Saruga, the cousin of Uchiha Sasuke.
