What is a persocom? A persocom is a computer in the shape of a human. They're unique mark is that instead of human ears, they have different styles of mechanical ears, some in the shape of triangles that can open and contain plugs and wires. They weigh as much as a human when activated, but deactivated and they are very heavy. The can do many things such as be a phone, surf the internet, or be as capable as cook, clean, and even hold a job with the right programs installed. They gain their energy from the sun through their skin, or by an outlit, although that racks up a very high electric bill. They come in different sizes, their performance proportionet. A large human size persocom would be considered a desktop type of computer. A smaller version, about the size of your hand from wrist to finger tip is a laptop version, and last but not least, ones that fit on keychains, are personal organizers. They can store phone numbers, appointments and record memos. The desktop and laptop are made as real as possible, warm skin, and also anatomically correct, but not functional.
What is a Chobit? A chobit is a special type of persocom that has emotions and free will, running unrestricted to its programming. The underlying use of the chobits was to spread the program that allowed emotions once their own emotions were met, meaning when they fell in love and were loved back. They could produce extra energy resulting in glowing, and extra weightlessness allowing them to float in one position and to leap long distances gracefully and slowly. They also have enourmous proccessing power and near endless hard drive space.
