As you drive along an old road during a heavy down pour, your car suddenly stalls out in the middle of nowhere. You try to call your friends that you'll be late but for some reason, your phone seems dead. As you look around, you notice an old house in the distance with some lights on. You think to yourself that maybe they might have a phone. As you run, you start to knock on the door and an old man answers the door. "Come in from this rain, don't want you to catch a cold." the old man says to you and laughs a little bit. "If you wish to warm up by the fire, you may. My phone doesn't work all that much but you're welcome to try it. the man says to you and disappears. As you enter the small den, you can hear the rain and wind against the windows but you push your fear out of your mind and pick up a book, titled, "Deadly Tales." You soon sit into a chair by the fire and start to read.
Gather around ghouls and ghosts, tonight I shall give you a wonderful fright if you wish to leave you may do so but once I start this twisted little tale, there will be no going back. So, you chose to remain, you have chosen wisely but then again, maybe not. If you survive my little tale, you may stay the night but if you don't, welcome to the family.
