Appearance: Possessing a pair of enchanting grey eyes, Rouku is a lean girl of 5'6 and barely tipping the scales at 132 lbs. Sun-kissed flesh the smoothness of honey and a voice just as sweet, she is well equipped for her job. Her chestnut hair falls in wavy locks about her oval face, forcing those bright eyes to strike out even more.
Personality: Rouku has plenty of energy to spare and has quite a cheerful disposition; eager to please, she often finds herself in a bit of trouble with her fellow civilians. Most of the time, she tends to be a bit too nice, resulting in one or two tussles with the law.
History: Quite the trouble-maker, Rouku Dainagi. With her never-ending search for making people happy, she always manages to run headlong into the strong arms of justice. What's a single apple to a merchant compared to that same apple to a starving child? But stealing was stealing. Rouku has received quite a few punishments for her "wrong doing", resulting in a few scars she uses as constant reminders. But kindness knows no bounds for this young lady. Ever since she could remember, Rouku was out to change the world. Unfortunately, it never got her anywhere but here.
Where is here, you ask? Here is Ameth, where the streets are never empty and the people are always bustling about. Something was always happening in Ameth and Rouku made sure she was always there to see it. Whether she was wandering along with an adolescent troop out for a mischevious stroll or taking it all in from her perch in a nearby tree, she was there.
But Rouku wasn't always poking around for adventure in Ameth, oh no. Rouku was born in Vert, the bountiful land beyond this man-made city. That was where her first adventure began. Life.
Born into a gypsy family, Rouku was always one up for a festival. She'd sing, dance, and perform for travellers and kinfolk alike, just for the sheer pleasure of it all. Rouku was born to perform. She had the grace of a swan, the reflexes of a cat and the balance of a crane. For years, everyone who knew her name came to see the little girl perform at the spring festival.
When she'd grown into a distinguished young woman, Rouku felt she needed a change in scenery. At seventeen, she packed up what little belongings she had, kissed her parents and brother farewell and trekked to Vert. She felt awkward, but soon grew accustomed to its busy nature and soon fell into step with its rhythm. She's established a small group of performers at the heart of Ameth's merchant district and has begun making a name for herself, not only as a street performer, but some say she dabbles in magic. Some people call it voodoo, others call it superstition, but whatever it is that Rouku does in her doeskin hut is between her and her patrons.
